TANGUEMIA
LA GUARDIA NUEVA remains active in the context of the pandemic.
On a stage created for this show, the trio bursts in with their tangos, waltzes and milongas.
Driven by the natural impetus of the artists, they offer new ways to experiment and present their music.
The aim is to highlight the tradition of the guitar in tango music. It is a unique and authentic concert.
TANGUEMIA presents hidden musical works and classics of the genre, interpreting Leopoldo Federico, Aníbal Troilo, Roberto Grela, Astor Piazzolla, among others.
Musical Tour in Colombian
The Canto por la Vida Foundation holds an annual festival aimed at playing local music from Colombia and the world.
They were specially invited by CANTABAILANTA/2017 (Geneva – Valle del Cauca) to perform tango concerts and workshops at the Festival and at the Foundation’s Music School.
They started the tour with the singer Luz de Olano. They performed in various cultural spaces in Cali, Pereira, Salento and Medellín.
Winners of the “Tango Sin Fin” Awards
The award ceremony of the “First International Competition of New Tango Ensembles” / Tango Sin Fin Awards 2017, announced La Guardia Nueva as the winners of the contest organized by the Asociación Civil Tango Sin Fin.
The winning concert they offered in the Symphonic Hall of the Kirchner Cultural Center, in the beloved city of Buenos Aires, was the best prize received.
